Blood and Tears for the Philippines.
Blood and
Tears for the Philippines.
The Day of Valor or “Araw ng Kagitingan” is celebrated every 9th of April, it commemorates about the Fall of Bataan in World War II. Back in 1942, the Filipino soldiers and American forces had a wrathful war from January to April of the said year. April 9, 1942 marked the start of the Bataan Death March.
Thousands of Filipino soldiers
were taken down because of this war. Those brave soldiers sacrificed their
lives in order to protect Bataan, Philippines rather. They are the ones who
stood and protected our country from the American invaders. Because of them, we
are freed from the Americans who tried to colonize our country and take over
our government.
There selfless love towards our
country and to our fellow countrymen gave their courage and strength to stand and
fight for us to achieve our freedom.
